A number of coaches attended a Foundation Cores skills workshop run by a centrally contracted coach on behalf of the England Hockey Board which was run on a Sunday in August at Maidstone HC. The below file shows the foundation skills that all players at any level need to master. Even at England level they will spend 15 minutes every training session re-visiting these skills to reinforce and hone the players technical ability. These skills and practices can be used at any level within the club. – posted 28/8/2010
