Wed 2nd May 6pm for 1 hour at FOHC Astro – a training session for all those interested in going to the JDC Assessment at Folkestone on Sunday 6th May (see Coaching session / JDC)

Sun 6th May JDC Assessment at Folkestone Time TBC

Friday in June – date TBC – Junior end of season evening U8s to U16s

The Junior Committee hope you had a lovely Christmas and wish you all the best for 2012!  Please check the training times on General Information, as there has been a change to Wednesday evenings for Girls and Boys U12 training. Goal Keeper training for junior keepers will be with Matt from 6pm to 7pm.  We are asking that all children training arrive 10 minutes before their start time to ensure they are warmed up prior to going on pitch, this will also ensure training can start promptly to allow our coaches to make the best of the time on the astro.

See you Wed 11th January and/or Sat 7th for training

YOUTH TASTER DAY – SUNDAY 28th AUGUST 2011

Thank you to all the children who took part on the taster day. Whilst numbers were lower than anticipated  it was great to see junior members and some new faces.August Bank Holiday weekend saw the opening of our state of the art facilities at Cheriton Road – please come along and look for yourself!  Our Under 14 and 16 teams opened the celebrations on our international standard hockey pitch.  Saturday afternoon gave our younger members the chance to play in a mini competition whilst parents watched admiring the new set up.If you used to play hockey, perhaps at school, and you might like to have a go again or you are a parent of one of our junior members, please come along on Saturday morning 9am to 10am.  We are running a gentle adults session in the training area adjacent to the children’s session.
