Ladies 2nd XI v Sevenoaks (L) Saturday 8th February

February 9, 2020

The ladies 2s travelled to Sevenoaks on Saturday looking to get back to winning ways. Although Folkestone started well it was Sevenoaks that scored first through a fluky deflection. Ops however worked hard and were soon back to level terms when Maddie Timmins went on a solo run through the Oaks defence and coolly slotted in at the back post. The game was end to end and it was Oaks who again took the lead through a short corner. Although Folkestone were working hard they struggled to find a killer ball and finishing touch through the second half and after numerous attacking short corners they were able to find an equaliser with Natalie Harvey getting the finishing touch to come away with a draw.
