On an extremely blustery and rainy day, Ops started strongly pushing players forward and after being asked to take more chances by hitting the ball into the D early, Vicky Bates did exactly that and found Michelle Phillips who took a touch and hit it past the keeper to take an early lead.
Cydne Smith and Chantelle Duncan caused old Williamsonians more problems by making some speedy runs and again ops overloaded the D and found Katie Janman on the P spot who tucked the ball nicely into the corner for 2-0.
2nd half against the wind, ops wanted to continue the pressure but Old Williamsonians counter attacked and got one on one with ops keeper Abby Slater who saved and kicked ball past her post for ops to re group.
Kiera Broadbank started the attack off down the right to Gill Steer who battled and passed the ball to Player of the match Chantelle who left the defender behind and had the confidence one on one with the keeper to calmly pass the ball under the keeper for 3-0
Old Williamsonians then won a free hit outside D which when hit at goal was left by ops and a contentious decision by umpire awarded a goal.
Ops kept their heads up and continued to push forward to relieve some pressure, Jeanette Cole nipped in and won a ball and slipped a defence splitting pass to the top of the D where Bates was waiting and scored ops 4th of the match
Final score 4-1
